Data loss on removal of battery and start of Laptop when laptop got off suddenly.

When i am using Laptop and busy in doing my work, suddenly I got my laptop off without any warning, i removed my battery and inserted it immediately. On start of my laptop it displayed as preparing windows and opened desktop. Except the files in drives all the data in other locations (desktop, pictures, videos, music, downloads, documents) got deleted. And i am using windows 8.1 the Apps that are pinned to the start got removed only desktop and one browser are pinned to it. How can i get my files back? Please help me, those files are important for me.
