ddr1 ram doubt

hey guys i was just fixing my old pc and i found out it needs a ram upgrade does it matter if i put a diffrent mhz ram into the slot nd id it does what will happen at the most ?? nd plus it stopped in 2007 its a bit rare to get

Google the motherboard spec and see what ram you can use.

You can mix speeds for the most part, the system will run at the lowest speed RAM installed. There are some motherboards that can have issues with different RAM sticks but for the most part you will be OK.
