I've been looking at laptops for a little while now, and have decidedly fallen in love with touchscreens. I've always hated the mouse on laptops, and this seems like a great solution. Now my problem is this - I'd like to be able to run something like say, Skyrim, at least on medium settings, without spending over $800. I've been looking at the HP Pavilion Touchsmart sleekbooks, specifically models 15-b109 and 15-b150us. They have an AMD A6-4455M "dual-core" processor/ 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM/ AMD Radeon HD 7500G gpu (apu?) and an AMD A8-4555M "quad-core" processor/ 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM/ AMD Radeon HD 7600G gpu, respectively.

I'm sure I could find a better gaming rig if I was willing to give up touchscreen, but I'm not. And I am building a desktop pretty much just for games, anyway. This will be more of a school/internet/roommate is hogging the PS3-type of machine. Does anyone know if either of these could run something like Skyrim on those settings? Would a 2x4 GB RAM set-up help? Or could anyone recommend a touchscreen machine in that price range that could? Thanks!!

I doubt you're going to find a touch screen laptop under $800 that can run Skyrim on medium settings.. You'll probably have to ditch the touchscreen or raise your budget

Benchmarks for HD 7600G

This one might give you about 30 fps at medium settings.

To run Skyrim at medium settings closer to 60 fps with a touch screen will probably run you closer to $1000-1100 (like this)
