It has an integrated graphics core; the Radeon HD 8510g. When it was new it was considered a pretty good integrated graphics core. While it is still capable it is less powerful than the Intel HD 5500 and Intel HD 4600 (more powerful of the two) graphic cores.
The AMD quad core A8-5545m APU is a bit weak. Overall, it is about equal to an Intel Core i3 CPU.
I would consider the following 15.6" Toshiba laptop for $449 (excluding Office 365) since it is new. It has a dual core i5-5200u with the Intel HD 5500 graphics core. It only has 4GB of RAM, but it is easy to install another 4GB of RAM. For playing games you do not need more than 8GB anyway. It comes with a 1080p touchscreen. The Intel HD 5500 is not able to play games at 1080p...
