Dell 2200 Inspiron to LG Plasma

Hi,This laptop can't recognize my tv as monitor. I've done, downloaded the latest video software, adjusted the resolution, connected the cable (rbg-pc), proper tv input. But still of no avail. Please help.

Have you tried fx+f5? That usually kicks the laptop screen off and the external monitor on. Have you also switched modes on the TV?
