Dell display illumination

I have an old Dell inspiron 2200 laptop. The video is barely visible if at all most of the time. I know it needs an inverter but this computer does not have and inverter like an HP which I am familiar with. Can anyone point me to the Dell inverter equivalent? Thanks, Ralph

You might be better off finding an entire display on eBay or at one of the many Dell parts resellers/recyclers. I haven't looked, but surely they are available and would likely solve your issue. Good luck!
