Generally speaking it is a good laptop for games. However, it has a TN panel screen which fine for games (though I think I read it is a little dim), but it is not very good for Photoshop if color accuracy is important.

TN panels re great because they are inexpensive to manufacture and have low response time (less input lag). However, they are pretty bad for color accuracy and they also have usually have pretty poor viewing angles. That means colors tends to shift the more off center you are from the screen.

What kind of screens should I be looking for?

For color accuracy you generally want a laptop with an IPS screen. However, IPS screens (like TN screen) can have different quality depending on the make and model; some are better than others. The Dell Inspiron 7000 series comes with an IPS panel by default, it is an okay IPS screen from what I have read. The Dell XPS 15 has a much better IPS screen if color accuracy is very important. Then again it is a more expensive laptop.
