I'm fixing a friend's kid's laptop so I don't know the history, but there is no power. The power adapter is good, I suspected the power connector on the main board but that's solid and voltage is getting to and main board and though the resistor. There is a connector that's above the keyboard under the LED panel and next to the left speaker that look significant but is plugged into nothing and with nothing near by to plug it into. Does anyone know if this connect should be loose maybe there for an optional function?
