i have dell inspiron 15 3000 series i made mistake while i tried to overcloack nvidia geforce 820m and after that when i press power button, i just hear short cooler sound and it just go quite. it just wont turn on plz help
 
Solution
You have to reset the BIOS, open the laptop and pull the CMOS battery. It may work by removing the battery and wall power and holding in the power button for about 30 seconds.

As long as you did not actually kill the video chip or motherboard.

Yeah, removing the CMOS battery should do the trick. Just be aware that the CMOS battery may not be easy to access. For example, if I wanted to remove / replace the CMOS battery in my Dell Inspiron 15 7559 laptop, I practically would need to strip down the entire laptop to access it.
