Dell Inspiron 15 7000 weird raining pixels problem

So, on my laptop a weird raining pixel effect started apearing,I've included a video so you can see what I mean since I can't really describe it.

On my 2nd screen that I sometimes connect this pixel rain effect doesn't apear.

I really don't know what to do or what this is and hope that someone has a solution.

Reminds me of old TV static, just not as bright.

If this is only happening on the connected display, and not on an externally connected monitor, then it is your display.

If the device is still under warranty, then I would contact the manufacturer.

If it isn't under warranty any longer, then I would suggest checking the ribbon cable that connects the screen and make sure it has no damage and is not loose or disconnected. If it isn't that, you may well need to replace the display.
