Dell inspiron 1501

Hello,
I have this laptop dell inspiron 1501 and there is no lights on when plugging in and won't turn on at all I took memory out and even the battery and tried but nothing just trying to get some other answers on the web.

There are a few possibilities: the charger is bad, the jack on the laptop where you plug in the charger is bad, or the motherboard is bad. It would be difficult to determine which of these it is from here; a computer repair shop would have equipment like a multimeter to help determine which it is.
