Dell Inspiron 3543 vs Asus K555LD same specs

Would you please tell me which model is better?, they both have nearly the same specs
Intel Core i7 5th generation
8 GB Ram

But I found some negative reviews regarding Dell's weak body & issues with the touchpad, also Asus's design is much better.

I need it mainly for programming, data & word processing.

Is ASUS a reliable brand?

I already read the articles before, but my question is about those 2 models specifically.
I know Dell has other models like XPS which have great reviews but it's more expensive than Inspiron 3543, & the article is mainly evaluating those more expensive models .. same for ASUS.

I also noticed that the comments are so negative mostly regarding both brands 😀
