I'm thinking about purchasing this laptop. It seems to be good, but I would like get the opinions of some experts. I have Dell Inspiron 15.6" Laptop Computer, AMD A10-5745M, 8GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive, but i would trade if it would be worth it. I want to play games on it. Thank you

You are not going to see much of a performance increase. In fact you will probably see lower performance. While the dual core i7-4510u is more powerful than the A10-5745m, the Intel HD 4400 is less powerful than the Radeon HD 8610g graphics core. Therefore, it is not worth bothering to buy the Dell laptop.

The Intel Core i7-4510U is a little bit of an upgrade from the current AMD part. However, it is not a humongous upgrade that would be worth spending serious money on. The other issue becomes that you are mainly interested in gaming which means the graphics chip becomes quite important. As far as I can tell, both computers are using the integrated graphics. If we compare the Intel HD 4400 vs the AMD Radeon HD 8610G, you will be better off with the Radeon part.

IMHO, I would sit tight, and wait for the next generation of parts to come out in the next few months.
