There is no such thing as future proof. Right now that laptop will struggle with 1080p and high+ settings on quite a few modern games.

Sorry im not going to list the games that I think it may struggle on. Its a 1050ti, its an entry level GPU.

Its a nice laptop, just dont expect everything to play at high settings, thats all. Id say it would play just about everything at low-medium.
