Dell Inspiron 7559 Hard drive

I am having a terrible time talking with Dell support and I'm somewhat newer to upgrading computers. I want to buy a standard hard drive for my laptop I just need to make sure it will work before I buy it.
It is the HGST Travelstar 7K1000 which is a 2.5" 7200rpm SATA hard drive. I can throw this in my laptop and it will work right? Thank you for your help.

The second 'will it fit' spec to look for is the drives height.

The Hitachi you mentioned is at 9.5mm and after a little research, the factory Seagate 1tb is also 9.5mm so you should be all set.
