Dell Inspiron keyboard issues

I have been having times where my keyboard doesn't work-- it won't type a letter unless I hold it down, then it types many of that letter (i.d., jjjjjjjjjjjjjjj), then I have to delete all but one. It seems to work ok sometimes, but othertimes this seems to happen often while I'm working in something (I believe always on the internet). I have a Dell Inspiron, but not sure what model. It says intel pentium inside and Windows 7.

what are you keyboard setting speed put them in the middle also could it be something stuck under the keys dust of the keyboard with a compressed air can
