Dell inspiron N5010 core i3 2. 26GHz how can I upgrade i7 features

Solution
You should be able to upgrade to i7, but i cant be 100% sure as your actual notebook cpu can be soldered on. If you open it and see it is socketed, you should be able to upgrade it, but there is no way to be sure sure if your bios will support it.
Highest cpu i can recommend is i7-640m, it has same tdp as your actual i3.

Your notebook should be able to support clarksfield cpu, but even weakest one have higher tdp so it will probably overheat.
