Dell inspiron wont power on

i hope some 1 can hel my dell inspiron wont turn on
after changing the lcd (screen) no power light nothing

I would normally suspect and reverse the last known action but nothing in the changing of the screen should have caused this. Have you tried with the power lead in and the battery out?

thanks alot for the reply.

yes ive done that and i tried changing the battery and charger
but 1 thing it could be is when i out the old broken screen i may of left the battery in surely this could cause a problem?

Shouldn't have made a difference. I change one a week on average and never remove the battery.
