Dell laptop does not turn on

hello guys,

I did not use my old laptop for a year, and now it does not turn on. My laptopo is Dell (Vostro 1500). When I plug in the charger, power light blink once, but it does not turn on. I also have changed the motherboard but the samething happens.
I have tried taking out battery and hold the button for 1 minute and it did not work.

I would appreciate any idea.

Hi,

The only thing you can do right no is to check the AC adapter if it's supplying enough voltage to the laptop to power it on. Try to remove the battery and connect the AC adapter and see if you'll be able to power the laptop on. If it doesn't work try another AC adapter with the same voltage just to test if it's really with the charger.
