Dell Laptop Fan not working properly

So, My Laptop fan won't kick in when it starts getting hot (65 +) )But if I tap it a bit it'll start up 😛
Just making sure that this is definitely a fan problem and not something else before I go buy a new one.

the fan is sticking til you tap it so replace it.
