Dell laptop inspiron 1545 manual

The camera on my fairly new laptop stopped working. Did I somehow turn it off? How to rectify?

Go to device manager and see if it is there. If so, see if it is working properly. From there, either disable or uninstall it. If you do the uninstall option, reboot and Windows will reload the drivers and such for it, hence re-installing it. This should give you a good idea of whether or not the camera is defective.
