Dell Latitude E5410 some keys not working

Replaced keyboard but still have, cde missing plus no number 3 - any ideas

Those four are in a straight line on the angle and if the original keyboard did the same, it points to the connection with the motherboard.

A Bluetooth keyboard is a possibility but it restricts the portability of a laptop.

The thing is, it's intermittent, all letters and numbers did actually work after fitting the new keyboard, then they went again. Apart from using a separate keyboard, is it possible to fix it?

Also - my PC originally logged me in as my son! This is the real me

The only thng you can try is to take it apart agan and double check everything that might be causing it. It's always worth turning the machine upside down on your shoulder and tapping itss bottom in the way you would burp your baby.

That gets all the toast crumbs out of it, along with any other dust or left over screws from the dismantling.
