Why can't it just be as simple as if you see a update, you install it.
Have we enjoyed too much freedom on the PC, or is there simply not enough on phones because of carriers?
If I pay $500+ for a phone, I expect to be able to put any damned software I want on it, when I want. Why else would I buy it?
