My concern is that ddr3 ram will only work optimal performance with i series processors. Is this true?
I need a laptop on the go but one that can multitask well.
please tell me what you think of this setup, its a dell studio xps 13.3 inch (why dell stopped making them I have no idea) I want this to last atleast 5 years,
Should I buy something else? My budget is about 800. I could go for something larger if I have to
thanks

My price range is 800
Usage for work and play. Not a gamer, a wee bit of photo editing, a little web work, net, movies.
Screen size 13.3 but I can go for a larger one if i need to (meaning if this laptop will be outdated within a few years I will go with core i5-420 or i5-430. The i5-520's seem to be out of my price range, and i have yet to see a 13.3 inch with the new i-series processors)
