I'm trying to decide which of these to get but I can't decide. I'm curious about the Dell Venue 8 as it has a perfect size factor but it doesn't have a keyboard, or I think it doesn't(Correct me if I'm wrong), and the Venue 11 seems like a better T100 from the reviews I've read.

I'm really curious about that Venue 8 though, is typing on it good or is their any Keyboard case option?

I bought the Venue 8 Pro for $300, it came with a lic for student Office 2013. I bought a leather case with bluetooth keyboard for $50. On initial start up it synced with my w8.1 lap top. It does not have a true gps but a fake version that works off cell tower location, accurate with in a mile or so.

Other than my Kindle HD this is my first experience with a tablet, with W8.1 it has no real learning curve. It's a powerful devise for it's size, the screen can be difficult to read. So far it's done everything I've wanted it to do. The larger screen of the Venue 11 may be a better choice for some folks.

My Dell Venue 11 Pro charges just fine with a micro-USB. I've owned it since 12/22/13.

Really? I have Sprint, I was just at their store on Friday, they had nothing that proves this.

Huh, I stand corrected then. I don't see anything though that specifies what carriers will be allowing the device to run on their networks though.

The Asus T100 by Far the others are too pricey and offer less. Don't be fooled this thing runs Doom3 and many shooters and good games I even ran crisis 1 on it. The new Intel Atom processor is pretty powerful and the Intel hd 4000 is surprisingly pretty good.
It comes with a keyboard usb 3.0 and hdmi audio plus a micro sd slot for storage. At 379.00 with all these features 64 gb storage and runs games and 10 hours battery life for a full windows hybrid tablet not rt it simply awesome.

I was deciding between the Dell Venue 11 and Asus T100 and got the Dell Venue 11. The screen resolution and the replaceable battery were the deciding factors since I plan on using this for the next 5 years or so as something to use on the go, so maintaining good battery life was very important, even more than weight and price. The battery will also charge from empty to full in a about an hour due to the powerful charger it comes with. I have read that the ASUS T1000 takes several hours to charge.

What sucks is that you gotta buy the keyboard separate which is about another $150, but on the bright side, it includes an additional battery that extends the total battery life by 50%. Experiences with using Dell laptops for personal use and work over the years without any complaints also played a part in the decision. I am using a Dell laptop for personal use that is over 4 years old and it performs just as good as the first day I bought it.
