Dell Vostro 1400 Screen very dim

Got Dell Vostro 1400 out of trash. Haha dont ask 😛
Got my laptop up and running however, the screen is very dim. Even at 100% brightness. The backlight sometimes go out within few minutes. Not sure which one is the problem. The screen or the inverter. What you think??

Hi, change the inverter first, it's cheaper than the screen.

Hi there, thank you for your solution. Are you sure it is not the LCD backlight? I thought the bulb/lamp was very worn out?

Maybe it is the bulb, but how do you test it?
