WHICH ONE IS BETTER BUY?
WHICH ONE WOULD YOU PICK IF YOU WERE ME?
SORRY FOR CAPS BUT I HAVE TO MAKE QUESTIONS STAND OUT FROM THIS WALL OF TEXT.. THANKS FOR READING!
Usage: Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Computer Engineering

BOTH LAPTOPS HAVE SIMILAR OR SAME BATTERY LIFE!

SURE I have asked a similar question in the past but times changed..
this is different xps specs with different price and deal...

AFTER TAX and shipping, THE DELL XPS will ttoal around 1100 dollars max
Sager is as is.

Solution
Get the sager, but upgrade the display for the price difference- and then you would have a great all around system for the price. I was concidering the same thing myself, but ended up going with ASUS G73SW-A1 from xoticPC. blew my budget out all over the place..
very sensable unit for the buck.

Thanks but...
I'm still llost on which one to pick.

Things I would do:
1 gaming mostly racing games (i'm used to low specs so either specs don't matter.. but i think medium ish..)
2 programming
3 photoshop to design stuff, not image editiing ... like drawing sstuff for websites, logos, etc
4 video editing
5 video recording along with something like gaming? or microsoft or other stuff..... tutorial videos to teach people...
6 dreamweaver to make websites
7 browser with 5-6 tabs running (assume one tab will be a video)
8 MAYBE 3ds max for fun...
9 chatting on IM typing...

10. a program dock will be running simultaneously along with the others listed above...

By the way, the specs you see there is it...
I don't plan on upgrading the laptop once i get it at those specs.

(I am willing to upgrade the sager HDD to 500 gb if necessary... it'll be 20 dollars extra)
