Dell XPS 9365 keyboard malfunctioning

My Dell XPS 9365 2 in 1 is approx. a month old and every now and then the keyboard will go bezerk. It starts to malfunction; the keys will respond incorrectly by opening and closing windows and other random actions. I have to close the lid and let the computer go to sleep. When I open the lid and log back on, it seems to work again. Any suggestions?
