Dell XPS M1530

My Dell XPS M1530's webcam starts up by itself, then the "blue screen" comes on with related text, then it shuts down by itself. Running Windows Vista with this laptop. Problem just started on 8-31-10. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

There's an icon near the taskbar's clock, it belongs to Dell and I think it's called Control Centre or something like that. It's function is to alert you of issues with your laptop and potential fixes for it. Check that first. If the Dell icon isn't there, then go onto your Dell Tech Support page and check for Webcam related fixes there.
