Dell XPS or Predator 300

I want to get a new laptop and I'm looking for a new laptop and I would like to know if the XPS or the Predator 300 would be worth it. I really want a 4k option and leaning close to the XPS but I also want dual hard drives which the XPS doesn't have. I might wait to see if they'll be an upgraded Predator with 4k option. That would be great. Any tips on what I should do?

major useage is my daily driver, plan to use it for 5-8 years

can you post the specs of the two you are considering? 4k gaming AAA titles -> GTX 1080+ and it is hard to get within the budget plus 4k screen.
