I believe dell computers a assembled in the US, but most of the electronic components are likely manufactured in asia.

Dell doesn't even make their own laptops. My guess would be no, it is probably mostly made in places like taiwan or china and then shipped and assembled in the US.

the only company there that actually makes and resells (through resellers) their own laptops is Asus.
