Devant TV display subtitle error

Hello!

I have a Devant LCD flat panel display and I wanted to watch a foreign movie in it, the subtitle can be seen but its incomplete. I had seen in the setting "subtitle 1/1" I wanted to know how to change it so that I can view the whole subtitle.

is this a foreign DVD, or a file you downloaded off the internet? where did you get said media from?

Also what are you using to play the media? DVD's/players are region coded, so you may have to fiddle with some things.

Its a file a downloaded from the internet. I had copied it from another flash drive from a friend. It's extension of the video is .mkv while the subtitles are .srt.I use flash drive to watch it on the TV.

Good luck getting this to work, it isn't easy
