device manager didnt show up external hard disk

i have a external hard disk which is not detect on my pc. i have try on lapptop and any other pc, also canot detect. Then i check Disk Management & Device Manager, also cannot detect my hard disk. Wonder got any solutions which can help me? (the data inside external hard disk is important for me) many thanks
