Difference between HyperX Cloud and Cloud II

I need a new gaming headset, and without a doubt I found Kingston is the best way to go. I found a Cloud and Cloud II on sale and I need to know which is better. Everyone says the Cloud is comfortable and has good noise cancellation and comes with 2 earpads. Is the Cloud II the same thing just with added surround sound or do other things change? The Cloud II is only $25 more so is it much better that it's worth the extra money and is it more durable?

the cloud II has a usb soundcard for virtual surround. otherwise the two are similar. if you need virtual and usb you can go with the II otherwise the original is good.

for a similar budget you could always go with a hd518 or ad500x paired up with a separate mic. sound quality will be a bit better for headphones though a bit less convenient than an all-in-one. if you wanted virtual surround you can use razer's software or a cheap soundcard like a xonar dg or u3 (unless you have virtual built into your motherboards soundcard)

I looked into the idea but every boom mic separate from the headphones were around $50 and I didn't want to spend more than $100 (found the Cloud 2's for $80)

the modmic is the best choice available but is $50. there is a cheaper option - the moovmic which is $20-25 though not quite as good.
