Difference between these projectors

What's the difference between Mitsubishi HC7000 and Mitsubishi LVP-HC7000 or Sony HW40ES and Sony VPL-HW40ES? Those lvp, vpl ones seems cheaper but the hardware looks like exact same.

So what gives?

A product may be imported from a different country rather than coming straight from the manufacturer. That changes the pricing because currency rates, import duties, and different pricing for different markets. Warranties can vary too.
Sometimes you find sellers that just ask more than the products sells for in the hope they can snag a sucker into overpaying. I have seen gear with an exaggerated list price then discounted to the actual suggested retail to make buyers think they are getting a deal..
