Digital to Analog Audio help

I recently purchased a digital to analog audio converter for my ps4 so i can use speakers for my tv. On the converter there is inputs of a S/PDIF and a coaxial. Would i be able to use both of these inputs for different devices?
For Example. I have a xbox one sound on the S/PDIF and ps4 sound on the coaxial cable.

I don't think that's likely to work. Not certain.

However, your TV likely has an SPDIF out. If you connect this to the converter, it'll change inputs with your TV.
