digital to rca converter adaptor.

I have purchased the digital to RCA converter adapter recently. But i can hear the sound for few videos only and there is abnormal sounds for other videos. can some one guide me to resolve this.

You don't mention what you are using the converter with but many converters will only work with 2 channel input. If you can set your source to 2 channel do that. If not get one that accepts 5,1 input like this one
