I just got this deal from DirecTV.

H10-250 HD TIVO
6mo Shotime free
6mo HBO for $2/mo
$5 off HD package x 12 mo
Free Install

for $299-100MIR

This is the same HD unit that is currently selling for $649-100MIR from DTV
if you call the main number. If you call retention center they will give
this deal. 1-800-600-8977.

I am not sure whether you need to be a current DTV customer to get this
deal, so YMMV.

I saw this deal on www.tivocommunity.com <- so much thanks to them. I didn't
see this posted here and it can save some HUGE money, so I hope it helps

That's an 800 number to retention. They will give you more or less in
programming and credits to account, depending on how well you negotiate.
Some of us also got free "$50" OTA antenna + install.
