So recently my laptop has been overheating quite a bit, where just running on idle, it could go up to 90 C for it's GPU temperature. My laptop is a HP HDX18t, and I've been hoping to clean out it's fan recently. I don't have a tool where I can blow compressed air, so I was wondering, if I was to take the laptop apart, how would I do it?

I have looked at the HP service manual, but it seems that it only has guides for replacement, and no where does it state the procedures for taking apart a laptop for the purpose of cleaning.

Any tips? :)

you might search google for and exploded view of you laptop. Take a look at the bottom of your laptop there are screws around the bottom to take out. You will have to remove your ram and hd also. Good luck.
