divx and divx avi's are of the past.

DivX was replaced my better formats long time ago. It's relevant only if your DVD player supports DivX/Xvid and nothing else.

Roxio used to be good loooong time ago. Last thing I used was Easy CD Creator 4, from there on (5+) it was complete disaster. Thank God Nero showed up.

You gents are out of date. Latest Divx format is AVC + Matroska. In other words, the very same modern formats you're going on about..
