Ok, so way back in 2010 I bought an iphone dock speaker set and I just found out that it has an aux port. This was an $80 system so I decided I'd see if I could hook them up to the PC I'm building. Yes is the answer, but I'm having a static problem which is annoying me. I'm not sure what specifically is causing it, but I know it's something to do with the amp and not the actual speakers. When I hook earphones to the audio input jack I get the same static I get when the sound goes through the speakers. (I have no clue why anyone put a headphone input jack on speakers???) Is there a way to fix this problem or am I going to be buying some cheap speakers for the time being?
