Do laptops disappear from the market forever?

Hello I want to buy a laptop for someone but right now I really cant afford to only after a certain amount of time I can. It costs around 300 euros and its a HP 15-ay082nd.


I looked up my own laptop and saw it was nowhere to be bought. But i really want to buy this laptop and I was wondering, will i not be able to buy it anymore after a few months?

When a laptop leaves the main marketplace, you can usually get one used on eBay or Craigslist. But they are usually replaced with a better model at the price point, usually with newer hardware.

Yes, laptops regularly rotate off the market. Even laptops with the same general model number will be refreshed many times. Technology marches on.

they bring out new models so fast its silly

so just might have become obsolete in a few months

There will be a new one along very soon.
Same price, same or better specs, different model number.

Don't focus on that particular laptop.
