hi guys I recently got an Asus X411UF-EB107T laptop. been searching Asus Website if this laptop supports NVME. All I know it has an expansion slot.

if it does support it can you point me to that website ? i have been trying to google the full spces of the laptop but with no luck. when i google Asus X411UF-EB107T it shows me the asus Philippine site and other online shop that sells it.

all I know that this laptop has bundles with SSD but the retail shop i got this from only has the 1tb 5400rpm hdd. Im planning on getting the Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 256GB SSD m.2 NVME since it is way cheaper than the Samsung 860 Evo 250GB M.2 SSD

Hard Drives:
500GB 5400RPM SATA HDD
1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD
Solid State Drives:
128GB SATA3 M.2 SSD
Solid State Drives:
256GB SATA3 M.2 SSD
Solid State Drives:
512GB SATA3 M.2 SSD

Solution

It wont run at all. Your laptop doesn't have the necessary hardware to run NVMe.

ok thanks ! if it is not supported does that mean the NVME wont run ? or it will run just not a full speed? or should I just play it safe and just get SATA M.2 ?
