Does my new Acer Laptop shut down after sleeping for 30 minutes?

Cannot find any info anywhere on this--not even in the manual.
When I put my Acer laptop on sleep, the light on the front edge blinks for 30 minutes.
Then, it stops. That's ok, but does that mean it's in shutdown mode or still sleeping?
The hardware settings page does not provide any info or settings on this question.
Do you know?

normally it should be sleeping.is there any issue with it?
