Does Recuva Deep Scan Recognizes Skyrim Save Files?

The extension of a Skyrim save file is ".ess". I don't see it mentioned in the Piriform explanation of deep scan but I want to be sure.

My computer has been running a deep scan for more than 48 hours now and the estimated time is still going up. I just want to know if I should cancel it.

The files I'm trying to recover are in a 1TB hdd secondary drive.

From the product page (your link), we can safely assume that Recuva can't identify Skyrim files (.ESS) when deep scanning.

Deep Scan is taking a very long time because it's scanning a 1TB drive. You can safely cancel it, it won't harm the drive.
