Does the age of the TV matter using a digital adapter

Does the age of the TV determine whether a digital adapter will work or not? I have a Sansung TV modeled in 2002 and last night we tried getting it to work but only 1 channel came through. Could not get the wand and TV to syncrenize. Is the TV too old?

Probably not. You have to use the digital adapter to change the channel and not the TV. If you are still only getting one channel, you may need a better antenna.
