Does the point of sound quality go for the sound card or the headphone?

Hello everybody,

I was looking for a new headphone but I couldn't decide what to buy, a usb or 3.5mm headphone. I know that the usb headphones come with a built in sound card but is that always makes it better than the 3.5mm?

I've never heard of USB headphones. I know there are a bunch of USB headsets but I've never seen a pair USB headphones before. Got a link to one?

Depends on the sound card you have installed. If you have a good onboard sound card, then a 3.5mm would be better. Otherwise, use a USB one.
