Does the SSD Tip the Scale

Hi Guys,

I'm comparing the below two laptops. The older CPU is more powerful albeit with less RAM but the other has a SSD. I'm unsure if the SSD tips the scale for this comparison?

The older one will run circles around the newer one as it has a true HyperThreaded (HT) quad core (vs HT dual core) and a stronger GPU both of which are better for gaming and computation workloads.

The SSD of the new one only loads the programs quicker but you can replace the 1tb drive with a 256gb ssd for under $100 if you really wanted to.

Plus the older one comes with 6 free games

It will depend on what you want to do. The one with the 940m is good for normal purposes with some gpu power but the other is much more powerful.
