OK what's a thread?lm computer ignorant,l just got this tablet,old one died. Iwas able to download everything.!l want to no how l download my old tablet notebook to new tablet notebook,l need help,thank you,terriy

You said you were able to download everything, did you or not? If the old one is dead and you don't have backups or the files were not stored on an SD card or cloud storage, you won't be able to copy anything. Or were you asking how you managed to download the old files to the new since you don't know what you did to do it? Could have just been stored on the cloud, many service providers offer backup services that restore once you sign on to a new device. Verizon does that, you just sign up, it runs backups. Sign into your account on a new device, you can do a restore.
