Interestingly, the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I did a
restore of a backup around that time, and I wonder if it had anything
to do with that. I figure it's something to do with the PDA because
it happens whether I sync on XP or 2000.
The workaround I ended up with is similar to below. In the PDA
explorer window, I click on 'Folders' just under the help menu item -
this splits the window into 2, with folders on the left, and content
on the right. I can then drag and drop to any folder in the left
pane.
Very strange.
